Resetting an IPTV box depends on the model you’re using (MAG, Android TV box, Fire Stick, Formuler, etc.), but the process usually falls into two categories:

1. Soft Reset (Restart / Factory Reset from Settings)
Use this if the box is still responsive.
- Android IPTV Boxes (BuzzTV, Formuler, generic Android TV):1. Go to Settings → Device Preferences → Reset or Storage & Reset

2. Choose Factory Data Reset.

3.Confirm and wait for the device to reboot.
- MAG Boxes (Infomir):
- Unplug the power.
- Hold the Menu button on the remote.
- While holding, plug the power back in.
- The BIOS menu appears → choose Factory Default.
- Fire Stick (Amazon):
- Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Reset to Factory Defaults.
- Confirm and wait for the reset.
2. Hard Reset (Force Reset with Buttons)
Use this if the box is frozen or you can’t access the menus.
- Android Boxes (MXQ, X96, etc.):
- Turn the box off.
- On the back or bottom, find the reset button (sometimes inside the AV port).
- Hold it with a pin, then power on the box while still holding.
- Recovery menu appears → choose Wipe Data/Factory Reset using the remote/USB keyboard.

- Formuler / Other IPTV Boxes:
- Similar method: look for a reset hole, press with a pin, then power on until the recovery menu shows.
Things to Know Before Resetting
- Reset will erase all apps, IPTV playlists, and account logins — you’ll need to re-install your IPTV app and re-enter your provider’s details.
- If your IPTV provider tied your subscription to your MAC address, it usually won’t change, but check before resetting.
- Keep your M3U link / Xtream codes / app activation key handy before starting.
